Take me out to the ballgame

Lessons learned from the ballgame:

1. Try to have at least a 1:1 ratio of preschoolers/toddlers/infants to adults.

2. Bring earplugs for the infant.

3. When buying seats

a. Try to minimize the number of stairs said preschoolers have to navigate

b. Get aisle seats

c. Find the least populated section (shouldn’t be hard at an Astros game right now)

4. Remember that sometimes you get what you pay for. Note: Don’t expect too much from the $10 seat/hot dog/drink/chip deal.

5. The line for the kids to run the bases is unbelievably long but goes pretty fast.

It was a good time, though with the Astros playing the Cubs, we knew someone would come home unhappy. It was Darren unhappy this time, but he has the last laugh since the Astros are still in the Central Division cellar.
